Bathing In The Styx is the first solo album from York-based musician Nicolas Lewis. A rumination on guilt, longing, loss, and love, all delivered with his characteristic melancholic vocals.
From the driving, dark funk of the first track ‘I Can’t Cope At All Without You’, to the eerie electronic folk of ‘I Heard A Woman Singing’, this is an album full of mythic ideas, tantalising lyrics, ghostly lovers, and thoroughly original music.

Nicolas Lewis is a songwriter and guitarist whose work is a culmination of his rich musical past which ranges from theatre to Brazilian choro. His songwriting fuses the intricate fingerstyle from his classical roots and the atmosphere of his later electronic experimentation to create an immersive listening experience and songs that are both subtle and emotionally impactful.
