“A Wonderful Songwriter”
- Jericho Keys BBC Radio York
“Dense fingerpicking, thoughtful chords, and oblique lyrics, packed into a perfect two minute package”
— Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music
Bathing In The Styx
Bathing in the Styx is my first full length album. It had a physical release on cassette tape and multiple tracks have been played on BBC Radio York.
“Nicolas’s voice is haunting and has an appealing fragility that matches the thoughtful and slightly disarming lyric. It’s a superbly well-written song whose outward simplicity belies the sophistication in its construction.”

Ugly Fish
The Ugly Fish EP came out in 2022 and the title track has been played or BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio York.
“Dense fingerpicking, thoughtful chords, and oblique lyrics, packed into a perfect two minute package”
— Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music
Beneath the Cut Glass Sky
This EP is a collaboration between me and writer Poppy Connor-Slater. She wrote new fairytales which inspired each of the tracks and also created the beautiful artwork. Tracks from the EP were played on BBC Radio York.
Hide and Seek Mode
This EP came out spring 2020. Singles from the EP were played on BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio York, BBC Radio Sheffield, and Amazing Radio. I played a live version of 'Pink Sunrise' for a BBC Radio York Introducing session.
Orbit You
“The York-based musician navigates corkscrew paths of the subject of love whilst remaining authentic in sound. The characteristically vibrant performance injects a melancholy into its pop-folk sphere which is all the more appealing.
With sublime use of looping as its centrepiece, there’s a sincerity and emotion which emerges and further augments an already endearing delivery.”

Creative Music Tech.
I'm always on the look out for new technology to use as a way of performing and composing. Capacitive touch tech has been a really fantastic tool to use to create interesting performances and new ways of writing/recording music. There are a couple of examples below and you can find more on my Twitter
Music in Isolation
During the several lockdowns of 2020 - 2021 I used odd materials that I could find around my home to create pieces of music. Here's a couple of examples and you can find more on my instagram.
Classical
